Yakima Valley College's athletic department inducted its 2019 Hall of Fame class with a ceremony held in Sherar Gymnasium.  A crowd of approximately 150 people comprised of current YVC student-athletes, coaches, and administrators joined family and friends of the inductees in celebrating their honor.  The 2019 class includes a cross-section of former YVC student-athletes (Phil Hinrichs, Wayne Purdom), coaches (Bob Everson), administrators (Elizabeth Sherar, Dr. Terry Brown, Dr. Donald Hughes), and one NWAC championship team (1977 Baseball).  A reception was held after the event and provided for a great opportunity for past and present alike to fellowship while sharing memories and stories.
